For the best possible print quality, we recommend submitting high-resolution, print-ready files. The ideal file format depends on whether your design includes photography or graphics and text.
For detailed artwork dimensions, placement requirements, and file specifications, please refer to our Custom Design Guide & Templates before preparing your artwork.
What file formats should I use for photography?
For photographs, we accept JPEG (JPG), PNG, TIF, and PDF files.
For the best results, please provide images at 300 DPI or higher. High-resolution files help ensure your photos remain clear and sharp when printed.
What file formats should I use for graphics or text?
For graphics, logos, and text-based designs, we recommend print-ready, vector-based files such as:
.AI (Adobe Illustrator)
.EPS
PDF
Vector-based artwork helps maintain crisp lines, sharp details, and clear text during printing.
What should I keep in mind when preparing my artwork?
Please keep the following considerations in mind when creating or submitting your custom artwork:
Color accuracy: We are unable to guarantee an exact match to specific color codes. The printed output may appear different from the color shade shown during the proofing stage or in the original artwork submitted.
Edges and hole alignment: Borders or graphics placed around the edges of the boards or the hole may have slight alignment variations in the final printed result. Because the boards are manually positioned on the printer bed, some details near the edges or around the hole may be partially cut off or may not appear perfectly aligned or centered.
Safe areas: We recommend keeping important text, logos, and other key design elements away from the edges and hole area. Please refer to our Custom Design Guide & Templates for recommended safe areas and artwork placement.
Solid-color backgrounds: We are unable to print a completely solid-color background. As part of our artwork guidelines, we apply a wood texture to the design. This texture will be added to your submitted artwork during the proofing stage for your review before production.
Custom Synergy Edge bags: The green edges cannot be customized or changed to another color. The edges will remain green regardless of the submitted artwork.
Custom Synergy Pro bags: The playcornhole.org trademark will be added during the proofing stage and will appear on the front, bottom-left area of the suede side of the bag. It cannot be moved, removed, or replaced. However, you can choose between two available treatments for the trademark: black text with a white fill or white text with a black fill.
What if I’m not sure whether my file is suitable?
If you're unsure about your file format, resolution, or artwork setup, feel free to send it to us. Our team can review the artwork and let you know if any adjustments are needed before production.
