Whether you already have finished artwork or want to start with a simple placeholder, you can upload, position, and adjust your design directly in the customizer.
Do I Need to Place My Order Before Submitting Artwork?
Yes. Please complete checkout before submitting your artwork or requesting a custom mockup. We need your order number to begin working with your design and to make sure your artwork and instructions are connected to the correct order.
Once your order is placed, you can submit your artwork in one of two ways:
Upload your artwork through the customizer: Add your artwork directly to the customization tool and leave us a note explaining your request or any special instructions.
Email your artwork: Add text as a placeholder in the customizer, then email your image files, instructions, and order number to custom@playcornhole.org.
For the best print quality, we recommend using vector files or JPEG files at 300 DPI or higher.
Can I Request a Mockup Before Placing My Order?
We understand that you may want to see how your custom design will look before committing to your order. However, we require an order to be placed before we can begin working with your artwork or prepare a custom mockup.
To get started, select your custom product, complete checkout, and provide your artwork and instructions. Once we have your order number, our team can use the information associated with your order to work with your design.
If you would like a particular layout, placement, color, or other design detail, please include those instructions with your artwork submission.
Will the Same Design Appear on Both Boards?
If you are ordering a set of two cornhole boards and upload a design to only one board, we will assume you want that design applied to both boards. Our team will duplicate the artwork onto the second board so the set has a matching design.
If you want different artwork on each board, be sure to upload the appropriate artwork for each board.
If you have any other specific design requests, please include them in the notes when submitting your artwork or email your instructions along with your order number to custom@playcornhole.org.
Step 1: Select Your Custom Product
Choose the custom product you would like to order. Once you have selected your product, click the “Customize My Board” or “Customize My Bag” button.
This will open our online customization tool, where you can begin creating your design.
Step 2: Upload Your Artwork
Once the customization tool opens, look for the “Upload Image, PDF, EPS or AI” icon in the customization panel.
Before uploading your artwork, you will be asked to read and accept our trademark and copyright notice. After accepting the notice, you will be able to upload your artwork into the customizer.
You can then adjust your artwork within the app to fit your selected product.
What File Types Can I Upload?
Our preferred artwork formats are:
Vector files, such as EPS or AI, for the best scalability and sharpness.
JPEG files at 300 DPI or higher for high-quality raster artwork.
PDF files may also be uploaded through the customizer.
Whenever possible, use the highest-quality version of your artwork to achieve the best finished result.
How Do I Adjust My Design?
After uploading your artwork, use the customization tools to position, resize, and adjust your design.
The customizer also provides additional design features, including the ability to apply backgrounds and other available elements.
What Happens During the Proof Stage?
The proof stage is when our Custom Team reviews your artwork and prepares it for production. During this process, we may make necessary adjustments to ensure your design is properly positioned and fits the product correctly.
Our team will also look for potential issues that could affect the finished product. If we notice something that needs your attention, we will communicate it to you along with the mockup or proof.
This review helps ensure that your artwork is ready for production and gives you the opportunity to review and approve the design before it moves forward.
How Do I Change the Custom Bag Background Color?
Changing the background color of a custom bag is simple. In the customizer tool, navigate through the following options:
ClipArt and Images → Custom Bags → Customizable Solid Background
From there, you can select the available solid background option and apply a color to your custom bag design.
Can I Choose a Solid Color Background for My Boards?
Please note that solid color backgrounds are not available for custom cornhole boards. We do not print boards with a completely flat, solid-color background.
If you select a solid color for your board design, a texture overlay will be applied during the proofing process. This means the final design will have a textured appearance and will not appear as a completely solid color.
Please also keep the following in mind when selecting colors:
We are unable to guarantee an exact color match to specific color codes.
Colors displayed on your screen may look different from the final printed product.
Depending on the color selected, the finished print may appear more muted or slightly different in shade than it appears in the customizer.
The material, printing process, texture, and lighting can all affect how colors appear on the finished product.
The texture overlay will be reflected in your proof/mockup, giving you an opportunity to see how the design will appear before production. Our Custom Team will also make you aware of any potential color or design concerns during the proofing process.
What Should I Include With My Artwork Submission?
To help us process your custom order accurately, please provide:
Your order number
Your artwork files
Any specific design or placement instructions
Whether the same design should be used on both boards
Any other special requests you want our team to know about
If you are emailing your artwork, send everything to custom@playcornhole.org and include your order number in the email.
Ready to Create Your Custom Design?
The easiest way to get started is to place your order first, then submit your artwork and instructions through the customizer or by email. Having your order number allows our team to identify your project and ensures your artwork is associated with the correct order.
